Regulation and Prizes

All archers can participate in the competition, if they are members of a National Federation recognized by the World Archery, in compliance with the medical and sports fitness required by current Italian legislation.
Exclusively for foreign participants, an equivalent medical certification is required or the self-certification can be downloaded here 
Derogating the Fitarco regulations, the registration to the competition is through the registration portal of the World Archery “Open Wareos”
Archers already in possession of a WA id can access through their own credentials, who did not have them must first register with the portal through the same page.
The competition is open to the Barebow, Recurve and Compound divisions, as defined and specified in the international regulation for indoor shooting.
There are four competition classes for each bow: male, female, junior male and junior female. For the inclusion in the respective classes of memberships only the international regulation applies.
All archers with an age of less than that required for the junior class will be included in the junior class. All those older than seniors will be considered belonging in any case to the seniors class.
The competition includes 3 qualifying rounds on Friday afternoons, Saturday mornings and Saturday afternoons, which can be extended to four according to the organization’s judgment.

The Organizing Committee intends to offer all participants free access to the transport system to and from Fiumicino Airport – Official Hotel – Organized competition field.

The Prizes


The competition foresees the awarding of all the participants according to the Fitarco regulations “for categories of merit”.


Foreign athletes will automatically be entered in class “1” unless the self-certification can be downloaded here



The competition also provides the awarding of the winners of the match round according to the rules of the Indoor World Series.



The competition also includes a secondary tournament with an autonomous award ceremony – played on Sunday – reserved for those classified from the sixteenth to the thirty-second position of each competition class.

The competition also includes a third level tournament with autonomous prizes for the winners from the thirty-second to the sixty-fourth position of each class that will be played Saturday at the end of the second qualifying phase.
